Estate agent increase sales using SMS property service

A SOUTHPORT estate agency is using innovative text messaging software to inform prospective home buyers of the specifications of properties.

Oakleys’ director Andrew Bolton has seen an increasing number of information requests from home buyers since using the textboards. He said: “textboards has increased the flexibility of our services and means that a wider group of people can now keep up-to-date with properties coming onto the market.

“We have sold a number of properties as a result of people using textboards, we envisage this will increase as the boards are used on our full range of properties.”

Nicholas Maguire, textboards managing director, said: “People today lead busy lives meaning they can’t always contact an estate agent for details of a property when the agency is open. “textboards allows people to find out about a property when they are stood outside it, at a time which is convenient for them.”
